House Concert Honoring Richard Zvonar Sunday, October 2nd from 4-7pm The American Composers Forum of Los Angeles and friends will be hosting a House Concert gathering honoring Richard Zvonar. As many of you know, Richard passed away on August 3rd. He was a vital part of the New Music community and his absence is strongly felt. There will be live and recorded performances highlighting Richard's career including his work with rock band Ill Wind, avant garde diva Diamanda Galas, and bassist Robert Black. The tribute will also include a performance by Richard's life partner and noted violist Pamela Goldsmith. Because Richard specifically requested to not have a memorial, this is an informal gathering where some friends and family members will be sharing brief remembrances throughout the concert. Food and drink will be served and we will be able to honor Richard by simply getting together.
