All soundCommons members agree to the following terms for participation:

1. All members are screened by a peer review process before registration is approved.
2. Registered members receive 250mb of disc space, supporting members receive 500mb of disc space. Failure to abide by disc space restrictions may result in termination of membership.
3. Membership is granted on a "use it or lose it" basis at the discretion of the peer review panel. Failure to use the membership may result in termination (so that we can make room for other active members). New members of longer than 60 days with unpublished home pages and no other account activity are subject to cancellation.
   
4. All members grant that they are the owners of or have the rights to material posted to the public areas of soundCommons.
5. Members shall indemnify and hold harmless SASSAS and soundCommons, its subsidiaries, affiliates and directors, against all losses, claims, damages, expenses and liabilities (including attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to: (i) claims for libel or slander, and/or infringement of copyright in connection with the material transmitted over soundCommons; or (ii) personal injury or property damage (including any damage to the facilities or equipment of members, any connecting carrier, or any other third party), caused by an act, error or omission of, or any condition created by, SASSAS/soundCommons or its employees, agents, equipment or other property; or (iii) any breach of any representation, warranty or covenant made by Member herein; or (iv) claims by the customers of the Member, or any other third parties with whom Member conducts business (to the extent that such claims arise out of operations or activities hereunder).
6. soundCommons will provide services on a best-efforts basis. Members acknowledge, however, that there are times when certain services will be unavailable for reasons beyond the control of soundCommons, such as maintenance, repair, upgrade, etc. soundCommons/SASSAS are not libel for interruptions of services.
